Experience

We tend to think of experience as something we go thru, like life. If I look at my own life and the lives of others around me, I’m moved to disagree with the common notion.

Experience isn’t what we’re going thru or it would be the same for all of us. We are all going thru the same thing but we each experience it differently, so experience is NOT what we’re going thru, but rather what we make of what we’re going thru.

The sojourn we’re on here either makes or breaks us. The difference between the two is in how we use it and the choices we make along our journey.

I’m not about to tell anyone which choices to make, including myself. It is worthy to note however, that the choices we make as we go thru this world DO matter.

All men are created equal, but that’s just the starting block so nobody gets a head start… the rest of the race is entirely yours to run. Victory and her spoils go not to the first to cross the finish line, but to the one who got the most out of running the race 🙂

Hyperspace – The Final Frontier

When it comes to space I know of three kinds.

First there is undifferentiated space. This is the space between worlds that also contains those worlds, it is inactive from our perspective. Our physical senses do not perceive it because it’s “not there”. I don’t mean it doesn’t exist, rather that its properties are non local and non dimensional. It is nowhere and everywhere at the same time and without limit, an infinite amount of space to work in, and infinite amount of things to work with and an infinite amount of time to do it so nothing actually gets “done” as everything is a work in progress that endures forever. It is the realm of our dreams and aspirations where we live as gods. The space of the mind.

Next you have differentiated or objective space, the space of worlds. If you’re in a world that is a location, or local space as opposed to non local. It is dimensional so it can be measured but that also means it is limited. There is a ton of work to be done in a cramped space, very little time to do it and everything is going against you. Even tho this is the world of “doing” actually accomplishing anything is near impossible because everything is going against everything else. Never the less the space of worlds is active space, the realm of doing where we live as men. The space of the body and bodies.

There is another space that is incredibly mysterious as it exists between the other two spaces. It is what ancient mystics used to call “ether” and the Egyptians called “Nether”, meaning either or neither. We know about it, but can’t really explain it because its very nature defies definition. The military has come to refer to it as Hyperspace but don’t worry, it can’t be militarized. Hyperspace is the ultimate playground surpassing your wildest dreams and fantasies. This space is “interactive” and it is the realm where we make our dreams come true. Where as the other two worlds are dreaming in a world where you can’t do, and doing in a world where you cannot dream, this is a world where anything you can imagine comes into vibrant, intelligent, conscious and feeling interactive play. I mean the space you’re in literally plays with you in the most fun, loving, and supportive way. It is literally “being in love”, undefinable, indescribable, but you feel it, oh my god do you feel it. This is absolutely and without question the space of the Heart, for it can belong to no other.

Hyperspace is home to me. It is the only place I’ve ever truly relaxed and felt “at home” with my surroundings. It the place where I am my true self, light hearted, kind, playful, inquisitive, adventurous and carefree. In hyperspace you can communicate “heart to heart”, there are no hindrances to dare I say “unadulterated” communication between people. It is such a pure and inviolate experience I’d go there for that reason alone, but it’s just one example out of a cornucopia of joys to be experienced in hyperspace.

The odd thing is, I’m pretty sure there is nowhere to go to find it. This world (Earth) isn’t like any other world, it is special in that it is like ALL other worlds, making it the Heart of the Universe. If hyperspace is indeed the space of the heart then we’re already there, we just have to bring it here. You can’t go to it, because there is nowhere to go, but she is my long lost love so I’m engaged in a courting ritual to bring her to me. This so far has amounted to learning the art of interplay, a playful dance of give and take between partners in love trying to get ever closer to that divine union. I’m pretty sure wooing her is a matter of removing the veil… not hers, but the cloak that hides my natural charm 🙂

Keep Your Friends Close

…and your enemies closer.

It’s from Sun Tzu and has been interpreted a lot of different ways. I don’t disagree with any of them, but I’m seeing one nobody else seems to be looking at. It’s also the situation we appear to be in

This puts you at the center surrounded by your enemies which seems like a bad situation… until you realize that ALL those enemies are surrounded by your friends

Be amazed at the friends you have here on your trip 🙂

Impossible You Say?

So when do you throw in the towel and admit that what you’re attempting to do is impossible?

Never

Not if you believe in what you’re doing, because the very moment you do it will become impossible and for us nothing is impossible. Tell us we can’t and we will, tell us to quit and we won’t, for the very pulse of life beats within us.

We will do what is in our Heart to do against any and all odds… because that is who we are 🙂

True Independence

Being autistic one of the things that bothers me is my dependency on the external world for help. It’s not that I hate dependencies, it’s that the external world is often not reliable enough to depend on. This is largely because things and people are always changing, minds are changing, including my own. They’re also called dependencies for a reason, they generally come at a price. The cost is both your being dependent upon something or someone external to yourself, and the actual price you’ll have to pay for services rendered.

A thought occurred to me the other day, that true independence may not be just reducing external dependencies to nothing so there’s nothing I’m dependent upon. I’m not sure it could even be done in a functional society because socialization itself is dependent upon the give and take of those dependencies.

INdependence. The word itself is the best clue and I can’t believe I didn’t notice it and what it suggests a long time ago… especially since I’ve been actively working toward it my whole life. Maybe, just maybe, it means learning to depend on the people within myself to help me in my external world. What word would we use to describe such an outlandish idea?

Independence. Depending on the only people you can depend on, because they are entirely dependent upon your “being” for their way of life. Self reliance isn’t having noone to depend on, it’s the absolute reliability of your own people within you 🙂

Depreciation

We all suffer from it as we go thru life. Physics calls it entropy or the second law of thermodynamics and physicists have all these scientific and mathematical theories as to why it happens.

Here’s mine…

As we go thru this world we gradually lose our appreciation for the things we really ought to be thankful for. I believe the way to reverse entropy and our own depreciation is by rediscovering our humanity.

What is it to be human if not to live in full appreciation of our own? A natural appreciation, born out of a band of brothers making it thru the gauntlet of hell together, out of full knowledge of all the sacrifices made, out of an understanding of what it means to be human, out of the final realization of who we are and what we have inherited by virtue of our place in the universe.

When we rediscover how to appreciate, we won’t depreciate anymore 🙂

There you have it… the key to immortality is our own Humanity

Trial and Error

Let’s say you wanted to know, to really figure out what’s going on here. It means learning, and a lifetime of nothing but learning. We learn best from our mistakes, so wanting to know probably means a lifetime of mistakes. In fact, you would have to make as many mistakes as humanly possible, but you’d also have to survive them. It would be an art and science, a Work of the highest calibre when you think about it.

Work means effort, effort means trying and trying means failing. Failing is making mistakes, which is error. Trial and Error are partners in a clever dance. The harder you try the more you fail, the more you fail the harder you try. It’s probably why people give up and quit trying, it’s a lot of humiliating and seemingly fruitless labor.

If you persevere and survive all those mistakes with your individuality and spirit intact, you’ve learned something. In fact you’ve learned a LOT and learned well by doing it the hard way. It’s very simple math in theory, but a bitch in practice. The more mistakes you make the more you’ll learn… guaranteed if you survive them and we have. In doing everything wrong we may in fact be doing the one thing we came here to do right.

So who are the screw ups now?

Justice

“One Nation, under God, with Liberty and Justice for All”

Words have power and those are incredibly powerful words. The power they wield is in their meaning.

What is the Justice we seek?

We tend to think of justice as harming someone else because they harmed us, legalized revenge with a moral license.

An eye for and eye and a tooth for a tooth

Honestly, if you think about it at all, that can’t be what true justice is. What we’ve been sold as justice is nothing more than getting even at best. At worst it’s trading one injustice for another until society collapses under the weight of its own guilt.

I believe justice is something quite different but also something we’re intimately familiar with. It’s our tendency to justify every act we commit. I know that in my Work I have to justify not only everything I’ve done to others, but also everything others have done to me, and everything we’ve done to each other. The justice I seek is not revenge, but justification. Instead of calling foul on everything that looks bad, I try to justify it by looking at it from opposing angles. I’m trying to find a way of looking at it that makes sense because I really believe in Humanity.

I call foul on just about everything initially, but then my mind has to grapple with everything in an effort to understand. As much as I love calling foul on everything and hate to admit it, I seem to be gaining that understanding… slowly but surely. It doesn’t come easy, I’m constantly wrestling with opposing angles and getting beaten and bruised in the process, but I keep fighting because I realize that understanding is our only hope.

What I want is a way to justify every single act we’ve ever committed against one another. We can’t change what’s happened, what’s done is done and cannot be undone. That irreversible permanence seems bad on the surface, but it’s a very good thing looking deeper. It means when we’re able to see every single act we’ve committed against one another as an act we’ve performed for and with each other, we will have the true justice we seek… for All… and none can be undone.
