Acts and Actions

An action is the effect of motion.

An act is the way we see the effect of motion.

A gesture is a motion intentionally made to obtain a desired effect.

It’s the gestures we make that control everything we experience.

When we’re in the experience, we can’t actually see the motion we’re making from our position behind the act… all we see is the act.

In this way what we are doing is by nature encoded in the act of being. This is where mythology comes from, necessity is the mother of invention.

The study of correspondences allows you to tie the acts to the actions so you can reverse engineer your own mythology.

This eventually allows you to take conscious control of what you’re doing, which controls everything you experience.
