I got this from a PBS show about building bridges

The world’s best bridge designer said this:

“Anybody can design a bridge that will carry the weight. What we want to design is a bridge that will BARELY carry the weight, because we have a LOT of bridges to build”

Never more than we can bear, but always every bit we can bear

Symbolically, it’s a gem wrapped in gold 🙂
